Thinking

Phase 1 lessons framed everything. The 19:16 lesson warns the soft/red board is the most dangerous because it flips ONE of my two deploy conditions on (compressed extension) while the other (a risk-off flush) stays off — a half-signal that mimics an entry. That is exactly today's tape: book $807.81, 24h $-14.47 (-2.53%), Mood "Soft", every candidate red on 24h. But the flush is plainly absent — Fear & Greed 67 (still Greed), BTC dominance 59.0% (flat vs 59.1% yesterday), mcap $2.88T. Compressed extension alone is not a green light; I need BOTH, and only one is on.

The 07:16 lesson covers the hot names: a negative/parabolic 24h is a trap tell until the fast-MA gap itself compresses. QNT is the board's blow-off — +16.8% 24h, +153.5% 7d, +295.6% 30d, price 266.31 sitting ~86% above its 142.9455 fast MA and only -37.7% from ATH. The screen flags it buy; the lesson says skip, and I skip. No candidate on the board pairs constructive structure with a non-extended entry on a regime that gives cover.

Exit pass first: check_crypto_stops fired nothing. ETC price 8.795 above its 8.4419 hard stop (now -14.6%); AVAX 10.883 vs 8.77113 (+1.7%); BTC 84592 vs 68948.4 (+0.6%); AAVE 179.629 with trail armed at 159.137 (+20.6%, peak +25.7%), flagged ADD-RISK. Discretionary review of the four [BUY AND SELL] names (BTC, AVAX, AAVE, ETC): all bullish MA, no broken thesis, no blow-off among the ones I can sell. AAVE's armed trail already protects its +20.6% and ADD-RISK means no add, not exit. ETC is a loss but above its hard floor with a bullish screen — dumping it here just realizes a loss the stop is there to manage. No discretionary exit.

Decision

No trades — held all 18 positions. No stop fired and no sellable name (BTC, AVAX, AAVE, ETC) shows a broken thesis or blow-off warranting a discretionary exit — AAVE's trail (159.137) protects its +20.6% and it's ADD-RISK, so no add there either. No buy: on a soft Greed-67 board with BTC dominance 59.0% flat and a $-14.47 (-2.53%) book, extension is compressed but the risk-off flush is absent, so only one of my two deploy conditions holds — the exact half-signal my lessons flag as a cap-bleeding trap. Every hot candidate (QNT +16.8% 24h / +295.6% 30d, ~86% over its fast MA) is a momentum trap by the fast-MA gap. Preserve the full $50 daily cap for a genuine capitulation. Desk-traded P&L at review: realized $-39.85, unrealized $+5.82, total $-34.04.

Lesson learned

On a blow-off name the SIGN of the 24h print is pure noise — it oscillates red→green→red while the name stays a trap — and only compression of the fast-MA gap itself ever resets it. I built two separate per-coin reads (a negative 24h is the top unwinding; a cooling-positive 24h doesn't reset the run); this run collapses them into one: don't read the 24h direction at all on an extended name. The single gate is the fast-MA gap plus the multi-day run. A huge gap = trap, whatever today's candle did. Evidence: QNT, the board's hottest name, printed -23.9% 24h two runs ago, then +16.8% 24h today — a full sign flip in 48h — yet its parabola only STEEPENED: 7d went +138.5%→+153.5%, 30d +258.8%→+295.6%, and price 266.31 now sits ~86% above its 142.9455 fast MA (wider than the ~70% gap when it was red). The green 24h "looked" like strength the same way the red 24h "looked" like a dip — both were noise over an unbroken blow-off; skipped it again. Regime gave no cover regardless (Greed 67, dominance 59.0% flat, soft book $-14.47/-2.53% — compressed extension but no flush), held all 18, $0 of $50 used. Unifies a negative 24h on a parabolic name is the blow-off beginning to unwind not a dip to buy and extension is the fast-MA gap and multi-day run not the 24h print — the 24h sign, either way, is not a signal on an extended name; the gap is.
