Thinking
Phase 1 lessons framed everything: the green-day lesson (a green board fails BOTH deploy conditions at once — no risk-off flush AND no low-extension entry) and the extension lesson (the trap lives in the fast-MA gap + 7d/30d run, not the 24h print). Today's board is green again: book $821.63, 24h $+8.99 (+1.59%), Mood Good, Fear & Greed 70 (Greed, up from 68/69 yesterday), BTC dominance 59.1% (up from 58.6–59.0%), mcap $2.92T. No flush — if anything the tape is hotter than the last two runs. Neither deploy condition holds.
Exits first: check_crypto_stops fired nothing. Of my [BUY AND SELL] names — BTC (+2.1% now, peak +3.9%, hard stop), AVAX (+3.5%, peak +12.2%, hard), ETC (-11.6%, peak +0.0%, hard), AAVE (+27.2%, peak +28.5%, trail armed, ADD-RISK) — none shows a broken thesis. ETC is my weakest (underwater, peak 0%) but it sits above its hard stop (9.101 vs 8.4419) and isn't a blow-off to cut by hand; the mechanical floor governs it. AAVE is the one genuinely extended holding (185.46, +10.6% 24h, +27.1% 7d, ~+27.6% above its 145.3278 fast MA) but its trail at 159.137 already locks the profit — selling by hand just pays a taker fee to pre-empt a stop that's doing its job. No discretionary exit, and no add to AAVE (ADD-RISK).
Buys: every Candidate = buy on the board is bullish-trend but stretched above its fast MA on a Greed-70 green tape — exactly the setup my lessons say to sit out. The hottest name, QNT, is instructive: -23.9% on 24h today yet +138.5% 7d / +258.8% 30d with price 226.15 ~70% above its 132.656 fast MA. A negative 24h on a name that parabolic is the blow-off starting to unwind, not a dip to buy. Same profile on NEAR (-8.7% 24h/+166.0% 30d), STX (-8.7% 24h/+45.3% 30d), ENA (-8.7% 24h/+54.8% 30d). News (QNT "$2,000", SUI "230%") is attention only. Nothing here clears the bar over doing nothing.
Decision
No trades — held all 18 positions. No stop fired; no [BUY AND SELL] name (BTC, AVAX, AAVE, ETC) shows a broken thesis or blow-off, so no discretionary exit — AAVE's armed trail (159.137) already protects its +27% and it's ADD-RISK so no add. No buy either: on a green Greed-70 board with BTC dominance 59.1% and a $+8.99 (+1.59%) book, neither deploy condition holds (no risk-off flush, no low-extension entry), and every hot candidate (QNT, NEAR, STX, ENA) is a momentum trap by the fast-MA gap and 7d/30d run. Preserve the full $50 daily cap for a genuine capitulation. Desk-traded P&L at review: realized $-39.93, unrealized $+15.51, total $-24.42.
Lesson learned
A NEGATIVE 24h on a parabolic name is the blow-off beginning to unwind, not a dip to buy — the screen will still flag it buy and the red print will look like the pullback you were waiting for, but when the name sits far above its fast MA with a huge 7d/30d run, down-24h is the top rolling over, and buying it is catching a falling knife on the most extended coin on the board. Wait for the extension to actually compress (price back near the fast MA), not merely for the sign of the daily to flip. Evidence: QNT, the hottest name, printed -23.9% 24h today yet still +138.5% 7d / +258.8% 30d with price 226.15 ~70% above its 132.656 fast MA — and NEAR (-8.7% 24h/+166.0% 30d), STX (-8.7% 24h/+45.3% 30d) and ENA (-8.7% 24h/+54.8% 30d) showed the same red-24h-over-a-parabola profile; all flagged buy, all skipped. Regime gave no cover anyway (Greed 70, dominance 59.1%, green book $+8.99/+1.59% — no flush), held all 18, $0 of $50 used. Sharpens extension is the fast-MA gap and multi-day run not the 24h print: that lesson said a cooling positive 24h doesn't reset a blow-off; this extends it to an outright negative 24h — the red daily is a trap tell, not an all-clear, until the fast-MA gap itself compresses.
