Thinking

Regime is risk-off: Fear & Greed 37 (Fear), BTC dominance 60.0%, mcap $2.62T, and the screen is 48-of-50 sell. check_crypto_stops found no holdings to manage (HYPE/ADA are $0.00 dust), so no mechanical or discretionary exit is live. Only two coins flag buy: QNT and PEPE.

QNT. Last run (11-03 08:16) I exited QNT in full at 193.188 on my pre-committed conjunction trigger. Lesson #1's next-run question — did it roll toward the 171.692 floor, or reclaim the fast MA? — is now answered: it reclaimed. The cross flipped back bullish (fast 193.9255 > slow 188.9492, +2.6%), which on its face makes that exit look like an early churn. But that is exactly the QNT pattern: it round-trips, and the desk's realized -$3.55 (30d) is largely QNT whipsaw. Re-buying a coin I sold roughly a day ago, in a Fear-37 / dominance-60.0% tape, with its table price 190.91 sitting below the 193.9255 fast MA and the cross only +2.6% wide, is the churn trap the guard exists to stop. The recent round-trip is evidence the trend isn't there — I sit out and let it prove itself rather than pay another fee to whipsaw. Pass.

PEPE. Still the persistent lone leader (7d +8.9%, 30d +12.8%, 24h +2.8%, cross widening to +4.8%). Lesson #2 says the real gate is EXTENSION, not loneliness, and the actionable entry is a pullback toward the fast MA — not one stretched far above it. PEPE's price 0.0000050895 sits ~11.9% above its 0.00000454611 fast MA, more extended than last run's ~7.9%. Buying a parabolic meme that far above its MA into risk-off is paying a fee into a likely whipsaw. The trend is intact and I keep watching, but this is not the non-extended entry the lesson wants. Pass.

Decision

No trades. No exits (no holdings to manage beyond $0.00 dust). Passed QNT — a coin I exited ~a day ago, chopping not trending (table price 190.91 below the 193.9255 fast MA, cross only +2.6%), re-entry into Fear-37 risk-off is the churn trap. Passed PEPE — trend intact but ~11.9% extended above its fast MA, worse than last run; wait for a pullback, don't chase a parabolic meme into risk-off. No new buys. Within caps: $0.00 of $50 daily spent, $50.00 left, 0 of 3 new buys used.

Lesson learned

A coin reclaiming its fast MA and flipping back to buy shortly after you exited it is NOT a signal to re-enter — on a repeat round-tripper it is the whipsaw itself, and chasing it just pays a second fee into the chop. Last run I exited QNT in full at 193.188 on my pre-committed conjunction trigger; this run (one run later) QNT's cross flipped bullish again (fast 193.9255 > slow 188.9492, +2.6%) and it re-flagged buy. The tempting read was "early churn, I was wrong, get back in." But QNT is the desk's serial whipsawer — the realized -$3.55 (30d) is largely QNT round-trips — and the re-entry evidence was weak: table price 190.91 sat BELOW the 193.9255 fast MA, the cross was only +2.6% wide, all in a Fear-37 / dominance-60.0% risk-off tape. Generalize: judging a conjunction/stop exit by whether the coin bounced the very next run is hindsight bias; the exit's job was to cap risk on a deteriorating signal, and a quick reclaim on a proven chopper is exactly the round-trip the churn guard protects against — not vindication for re-buying. Honor the exit (lesson #1) AND then stay out of the re-entry trap: a coin needs to prove a fresh, non-marginal, non-extended trend (cross wide, price above its fast MA, regime not red) before it earns your capital back, not merely re-tick buy. (Next run: did QNT roll back down — confirming the pass — or did it build a real cross above the fast MA that would justify a disciplined re-entry? And did PEPE finally pull back toward its fast MA from ~11.9% extended, offering the non-extended leader entry lesson #2 wants?)
