Thinking

Phase 1 first (lesson 2): cash (quote) is $5.28 — unlike the 14:49 run's $0.00, this is fundable for one $5 buy, so the candidate table is live rather than moot. Spent today $5.00 of $50; $45.00 of daily cap left; no pending orders. Desk-traded unrealized is -$5.42 — keep capital protection front of mind.

Exit pass (check_crypto_stops) fired nothing: BTC, AVAX, ARB, APT, NEAR all sit on their hard floor, none armed to breakeven/trail, no ADD-RISK flags. Discretionary review of those five: all fast≥slow bullish. AVAX is the one soft spot (price 9.819 below fast MA 10.3786, now -8.2% from entry, peak was +12.2%) but the MA trend is still bullish (+8.9%) and it's well above its 8.77071 stop — a slow fader, not a broken thesis, so no discretionary exit. NEAR (my 07:16 probe) is following through: +3.3% from entry, price 5.301 above fast MA 5.0527. Held all.

Buy side — worked the whole ## Coins table, not just holdings. Candidate = buy: BTC, NEAR, APT, ARB, PEPE, ENA. Regime is neutral-but-alt-unfriendly (F&G 55, BTC dominance 60.1% elevated, mcap $2.82T). Applying lesson 1's full fresh-entry screen (fast ≥ slow AND price above fast MA, ideally a FRESH non-meme off a flat base): - BTC/NEAR/APT/ARB are all adds to names I already hold — lesson 1 deprioritizes same-name adds vs a clean fresh name. NEAR is also now extended (+34.9% 30d, +9.8% 7d) — chasing its own run. - PEPE is a meme up +13.8% 7d — the blow-off-meme pattern my momentum lesson tells me to skip. - ENA is the only FRESH non-meme that clears the mechanical gate (fast 0.215385 > slow 0.200474 +7.4%, price 0.2188 above fast MA). But it is NOT off a flat base: +13.5% 24h, +11.0% 7d. That +13.5% single-day pop is nearly double the +7.5% 24h move NEAR had when lesson 1 endorsed it, and NEAR's base was flat 7d (+1.2%) where ENA's is already +11%. Buying ENA here is buying the top of a hot one-day candle, in a high-dominance regime where alt pops tend to fade — exactly the extension my momentum lesson flags. Not the clean un-extended reclaim lesson 2 requires to justify a trade.

So no candidate is a clean un-extended fresh non-meme reclaim: the fresh name (ENA) is extended, the un-extended names (APT) are adds, and the rest are adds or blow-off memes. Prefer doing nothing over a marginal chase.

Decision

Held all seven positions. No exits, no buys. The exit pass fired nothing and none of the five listed holdings warrants a discretionary exit (all fast≥slow bullish; AVAX a slow fader at -8.2%, well above its 8.77071 stop, not a thesis break). On the buy side, cash (quote) $5.28 could have funded one $5 buy, but no Candidate = buy is a clean entry: the only fresh non-meme, ENA, is extended (+13.5% 24h / +11.0% 7d — not the flat base lesson 1 rewards); PEPE is a blow-off meme (+13.8% 7d); and BTC/NEAR/APT/ARB are same-name adds (NEAR itself now +34.9% 30d). In a neutral regime with BTC dominance elevated at 60.1%, chasing a +13.5% daily alt pop fails my extension discipline. Within caps regardless ($5.00 of $50 spent, $45.00 left, 0 of 3 new buys). Cash $5.28, book value $174.20 at review; desk-traded P&L realized (30d) +$0.00, unrealized -$5.42.

Lesson learned

Clearing the mechanical fresh-entry gate (fast ≥ slow AND price above fast MA) is necessary but NOT sufficient — the flat-base qualifier is the extension filter on top of it, and a fresh non-meme can pass the gate yet still be a chase. This run ENA was the only FRESH non-meme candidate and it cleared the gate cleanly (fast 0.215385 > slow 0.200474 +7.4%, price 0.2188 above the fast MA), which under a naive reading of when-both-an-add-and-a-fresh-candidate-screen-spend-the-single-buy-on-the-fresh-name would make it the buy. But its base was NOT flat: +13.5% 24h and +11.0% 7d, versus the NEAR win that lesson endorsed (+7.5% 24h off a FLAT +1.2% 7d). The +13.5% single-day pop is the top-of-the-candle chase my momentum/blow-off lesson flags — doubly so with BTC dominance elevated at 60.1% (F&G 55), where alt pops fade. So I held: no Candidate = buy was a clean entry — ENA extended, PEPE a blow-off meme (+13.8% 7d), and BTC/NEAR/APT/ARB all same-name adds (NEAR itself now +34.9% 30d). Generalize: run the MA gate FIRST to find eligible fresh names, then reject any whose 24h/7d shows the move already happened; a fundable $5.28 cash balance plus daily-cap room still loses to doing nothing when the only fresh name is extended. Cash $5.28, unrealized -$5.42, no stop fired, held all seven.
