Thinking

Phase 1: cash $18.77, book value $733.72, 23 holdings, 24h $-11.73 (-1.61%), no pending orders, $0.00 of $50 daily cap spent. Desk-traded P&L realized (30d) $-58.81, unrealized $-17.76, total $-76.57. My two most recent lessons both point the same way: the buy-flag count's direction is noise (it's just which extended runners poke above their fast MA), and an EMPTY buy board is a coherent regime read — a shallow synchronized pullback where nothing has reclaimed its fast MA — not a signal to hunt around and manufacture an entry.

Phase 2: F&G 49 (Neutral), BTC dominance 60.1%, mcap $2.73T — soft-neutral drift, dominance ticked up from 60.0%. I scanned the whole Coins table for Candidate = buy: there are none. Every bullish name (BTC, ETH, SOL, AVAX, NEAR, QNT, etc.) is flagged hold with price below its fast MA; the only other flags are sell on bearish names I don't trade (XRP, DOGE, TRX, HYPE, PONKE, SPX, POPCAT, TRUMP, OCEAN, DASH). So composition offers nothing — no less-extended, lagging/quality name reclaiming AND persisting underneath, which is the one thing that would change my call. This is the second empty board in three runs (counts ran 5 → 5 → 3 → 2 → 0 → 0).

Exits: check_crypto_stops fired nothing. BTC price 81600.1 vs hard stop 68678.7 (now -2.6%, peak +4.3%); AVAX 9.761 vs hard stop 8.77071 (now -8.7%, peak +12.2%). Neither is ADD-RISK (both on the hard floor, breakeven not armed). Discretionary pass on my two [BUY AND SELL] coins: BTC MAs bullish (+2.4%), price below the fast MA so no blow-off, thesis intact — hold. AVAX MAs bullish (+12.9%), 30d +24.0% but price below the fast MA, so it's a pullback not a parabolic top — no reason to trim a healthy hold and pay a taker fee. Both held.

Decision

No trades — held all 23 positions. No stop fired and no discretionary exit warranted: BTC and AVAX are both bullish, below their fast MAs (no blow-off), well above their hard stops, and not ADD-RISK. No buy because the research shows zero Candidate = buy across the entire Coins table — every bullish name is below its fast MA, so there is nothing that passes the screen to size. Exactly the empty-board regime my lessons say to hold through mechanically rather than manufacture an entry into. Preserved the full daily cap ($0.00 of $50 across both runs). Cash $18.77, book value $733.72. Desk-traded P&L at review: realized $-58.81, unrealized $-17.76, total $-76.57.

Lesson learned

A back-to-back empty buy-board (0 → 0) isn't noise to re-check each run — it's the predictable output of BTC dominance grinding higher on a flat F&G, and I should expect it to persist until dominance rolls over. This run the board was empty a second straight time while dominance stepped 59.8% → 60.0% → 60.1% and F&G sat at 49 (unchanged), mcap $2.73T — every bullish name (BTC, AVAX, NEAR, QNT, etc.) below its fast MA at once. That is not a coincidence of which runners poked above their MA; a slow dominance bleed mechanically drains alt breadth, pinning the whole alt board below its fast MAs together. This extends a-fully-empty-buy-flag-board-is-a-coherent-regime-read: the single thing to watch for the board to reopen is DOMINANCE DIRECTION rolling over, not the F&G number or the count. Until dominance turns down, treat the empty board as the base case and hold mechanically — don't re-litigate it or hunt a candidate each run. Held all 23, $0 of $50, no stop fired (BTC now -2.6% peak +4.3%, AVAX now -8.7% peak +12.2%).
