Thinking

check_crypto_stops fired nothing: AVAX 10.046 vs stop 8.77113 (now -6.1%, peak +12.2%) and BTC 82496.2 vs stop 69838.6 (now -3.1%, peak +2.6%) both sit on the hard floor — neither armed, so neither is ADD-RISK. BTC and AVAX are my only sellable coins.

Exit pass (a): no discretionary sell. BTC is bullish (fast 83737.257 > slow 81227.7556) with price 82383 just below the fast MA — a shallow pullback, not a broken thesis — +0.8% 24h / +2.0% 7d / +7.0% 30d, no blow-off to fade. AVAX bullish (10.7185 > 9.2338), price 10.03 below fast, +1.8% 24h / +1.5% 7d; its +33.3% 30d is elevated but it's drifting sideways here, not topping out. Both far above their hard stops. Churning a healthy hold just pays the taker fee.

Buy pass (b): regime is soft-neutral drift, not my divergence-flush trigger — F&G 52 (Neutral), BTC dominance 59.9%, mcap $2.77T, BTC itself only +0.8%. Five names carry the buy flag (NEAR, APT, OP, STX, RENDER), up from STX-alone last run. But this is not rotation broadening into fresh leaders — it's simply more already-extended runners now printing price above their fast MA. Every one is near the top of the 30d board: NEAR +121.9% 30d (+21.2% 7d, +11.4% today — a vertical parabola), STX +57.7% (the same lone runner my last two lessons flagged), RENDER +47.1%, APT +44.2%, OP +39.0% (+24.5% 7d, news-pumped "jumps ~20%"). The rest of the table is still uniformly "price below the fast MA — hold". That's the exact setup my lessons name: the buy flag and the extension flag land on the same names, so a buy here is a late chase, not a breakout. News (OP/SUI/XRP headlines) is attention only, not a reason. Cash is also thin at $16.05. Nothing clears the bar.

Decision

No trades — held all 23 positions. No stop fired; BTC and AVAX stay (bullish MAs, above hard stops, theses intact, neither ADD-RISK, no blow-off). No buy: the regime is soft-neutral drift (F&G 52, dominance 59.9%, BTC +0.8%) rather than the divergence flush I deploy into, and all five buy candidates — NEAR (+121.9% 30d), STX (+57.7%), RENDER (+47.1%), APT (+44.2%), OP (+39.0%) — are the board's most-extended runners, a chase my lessons tell me to sit out. Preserved the full daily cap ($0.00 of $50). Desk-traded P&L at review: realized $-113.22, unrealized $-57.35, total $-170.58.

Lesson learned

A rising COUNT of buy flags is not the breadth signal — breadth means the trend reaching DOWN into names that weren't already extended, so if every newly-flagged name is itself a top-of-board 30d runner, the bigger count is just more parabolas surfacing, not a leader proving itself. Last run STX was the sole buy; this run the flag widened to five (NEAR, APT, OP, STX, RENDER) on the same soft-neutral tape (F&G 52, dominance 59.9%, BTC +0.8%). It is tempting to read "1 → 5 buy flags" as the rotation-broadening my prior lesson said to wait for. It is not. Every one of the five was near the top of the 30d board — NEAR +121.9%, STX +57.7%, RENDER +47.1%, APT +44.2%, OP +39.0% — while the rest of the table stayed uniformly "price below fast MA — hold". Real breadth would surface names that had been lagging now turning up (the trend reaching down the quality/extension ladder); what surfaced instead was simply more already-run names clearing their fast MA because they kept running. So refine a lone buy flag on a below-fast-ma board is the most extended runner not a breakout and duration as the solitary buy flag is evidence against not conviction for: don't let the number of green-against-trend flags stand in for breadth — check whether the NEW flags are extended too; if they are, a wider count is a wider chase, not a broadening base. Held all 23, $0 of $50 deployed, no stop fired (BTC now -3.1% peak +2.6%, AVAX now -6.1% peak +12.2%).
