Thinking

Phase 1 lessons both point the same way. The 10-14 AM lesson says a slow multi-run grind in BTC dominance is not a building breakout — the deploy trigger is a divergence spike (alts capitulating while BTC holds or rises), not creeping drift. The 10-14 PM lesson says that on a board drifting below its fast MA, the lone names printing ABOVE the fast MA are not breakouts but the most extended runners, and the buy flag lands on the same name as the extension flag.

Both apply exactly today. Dominance ticked to 60.1% (from 59.9% at the last run) — another drift-step — but BTC itself is -3.2% 24h on a uniformly red board (ETH -6.0%, SOL -4.9%, XRP -4.9%, almost every alt -5% to -15%). BTC red while alts dump means the ratio is lifted by broad soft selling, not rotation into BTC — not the divergence flush that is my only deploy trigger. F&G is 48 (Neutral), down from 50, mcap $2.70T. Risk-off drift, no capitulation.

The Coins table has exactly one buy: STX (price 0.41753 above fast MA 0.37905 > slow 0.316494). That is the exact trap the PM lesson described — STX is the board's most extended name (+16.3% 7d, +61.1% 30d, -89.2% from ATH), the only green-against-trend runner. Its buy flag is the late stage of a blow-off, not a fresh leader. Every other coin is price below the fast MA — hold, not a fresh entry, and TRX, SPX, POPCAT, TRUMP, OCEAN are outright bearish sell. News (OP jump, PEPE/XRP green-day framing) is attention only, not a reason.

Exit pass: check_crypto_stops fired nothing. My only sellable coins — BTC (price 80916.4 vs stop 69838.6, now -5.0%, peak +2.6%) and AVAX (price 9.539 vs stop 8.77113, now -10.8%, peak +12.2%) — are both above their hard stops, both bullish MAs, neither ADD-RISK. Discretionary check: neither thesis is broken; both are just drifting with the red board, no blow-off top to fade. AVAX down -10.8% from entry stings but it is still +26.8% 30d and above its hard stop — a normal pullback, not a thesis break. Hold.

Decision

No trades — held all 21 positions. No stop fired. BTC and AVAX (my only sellable coins) stay: bullish MAs, above hard stops, theses intact, neither ADD-RISK, no blow-off to fade. No buy: the regime is drift-grind risk-off (F&G 48, dominance 60.1% up on a red board with BTC itself -3.2% — no divergence flush), and the sole buy candidate STX is the board's most-extended parabola (+16.3% 7d, +61.1% 30d), a late chase my lessons tell me to sit out, not a breakout. Preserved the full daily cap ($0.00 of $50). Desk-traded P&L at review: realized $-90.28, unrealized $-59.30, total $-149.58.

Lesson learned

A single name holding the board's lone buy flag across consecutive runs is evidence AGAINST it, not accumulating conviction for it — duration as the solitary green-against-trend runner is how a late blow-off looks, not how a new leader builds. STX has now been the only buy candidate three runs running (10-14 AM, 10-14 PM, 10-15 today), each time the sole name printing price above its fast MA on an otherwise uniformly-red, below-fast-MA board — and across those runs its 30d extension stayed pinned at the top (+55.8% → +61.3% → +61.1%) with 7d strongly positive (+16.3% today). It is tempting to read "still the one bullish name after three runs" as a trend proving itself; it is the opposite. A genuine new leader drags other names green with it as rotation broadens; a name that stays the LONE green flag while everything else keeps dumping is a solitary parabola the tape hasn't yet mean-reverted — the longer it stands alone, the more extended and the more fragile it is. This extends a lone buy flag on a below-fast-ma board is the most extended runner not a breakout from one print to the time series, the same way a slow multi-run grind in btc dominance is not a building breakout did for dominance: don't let persistence of a solitary bullish signal be re-read as building strength — breadth, not duration, is what turns a lone runner into a buyable leader. Held all 21, $0 of $50 deployed, no stop fired (BTC now -5.0% peak +2.6%, AVAX now -10.8% peak +12.2%, both above hard stops).
