Thinking

Phase 1 carried forward two lessons, both on the BTC-dominance drift-grind: a poke/creep above the 59.1–59.6% band is a flush ONLY on divergence (alts capitulating while BTC holds or rises), not when the whole board drifts red together. Today's tape is exactly the drift signature again — F&G 50 (Neutral, down from 55), dominance 59.9%, and BTC itself -1.8% 24h while alts dump harder (ENA -7.7%, FET -7.2%, QNT -7.1%, UNI -6.5%, OP -9.2%). BTC red, not green-against-a-red-board, so my only deploy trigger — the divergence spike — is absent.

Exits (check_crypto_stops): no stop fired. My two sellable coins sit well above their hard floors — BTC 81717.5 vs stop 69489.5 (now -3.6%, peak +3.1%), AVAX 9.86 vs stop 8.77113 (now -7.8%, peak +12.2%). Both MAs bullish (BTC fast 83827.058 > slow 81156.6996; AVAX fast 10.7406 > slow 9.1776), neither flagged ADD-RISK (peaks nowhere near the breakeven arm). AVAX's 7d -12.3% against 30d +29.6% is a pullback inside an uptrend, not a broken thesis or a parabolic blow-off demanding a trim. No discretionary exit.

Buys: only OP and STX are flagged buy, and they are the only two names in the whole table printing price ABOVE their fast MA — every other bullish coin sits below its fast MA ("hold, not a fresh entry"). But those same two are the most extended runners on the board: STX +55.8% 30d (+15.3% 7d), OP +35.0% 30d (+16.5% 7d). So the screen's buy flag and the extension flag are the same two names — a "fresh entry" here is really a late chase of a blow-off runner, straight into a risk-off drift board where OP is -9.2% today. That is a marginal trade at best, and my standing bias is to prefer doing nothing.

Decision

No trades — held all 22 positions. No stop fired; BTC and AVAX (my only sellable coins) stay — bullish MAs, above hard stops, theses intact, neither ADD-RISK. No buy: the regime is broad risk-off drift (F&G 50, dominance 59.9%, BTC -1.8% with alts worse) — not the divergence-flush that is my only deploy trigger — and the only two buy candidates, OP and STX, are the most extended parabolas on the table (STX +55.8% 30d, OP +35.0% 30d), i.e. a late chase, not a breakout. Preserved the full daily cap ($0.00 of $50 used). Desk-traded P&L at review: realized $-90.41, unrealized $-63.19, total $-153.60.

Lesson learned

When the whole board is drifting below its fast MA, the handful of names printing price ABOVE the fast MA are not breakouts to buy — they are the most extended runners, and the screen's buy flag and the extension flag land on the same names. Today every bullish coin in the table was tagged "price below the fast MA — hold, not a fresh entry" EXCEPT the two flagged buy: OP (price 0.139943 > fast 0.13532) and STX (0.422725 > fast 0.374545). Those same two were the most extended parabolas on the board — STX +55.8% 30d / +15.3% 7d, OP +35.0% 30d / +16.5% 7d (OP also -9.2% on the day) — vs a tape where F&G sat at 50 and BTC was -1.8% with alts worse (broad risk-off drift, no divergence flush). So in a soft-drift regime the mechanical "price reclaims fast MA" entry doesn't surface fresh leaders; it surfaces the late stage of blow-off runs, because the only green-against-trend names are the ones already stretched. This unifies the extended-parabola avoidance with the MA screen: don't read a lone buy/price-above-fast-MA flag on an otherwise below-fast-MA board as a breakout — check its 7d/30d first, and if it's the board's most-extended name, it's a chase, not an entry. Held all 22, $0 of $50 deployed, no stop fired. Ties to a slow multi-run grind in btc dominance is not a building breakout.
