Thinking
Phase 1 handed me a "Good" board: cash $249.23, book $816.82, 24h $+5.96 (+1.06%), desk P&L realized $-39.62 / unrealized $+9.86 / total $-29.77, zero pending orders and $50.00 of $50 still available. Phase 2 confirms a Greed regime — Fear & Greed 68, BTC dominance 58.9%, mcap $2.91T — essentially the same flat-greed tape my last two lessons were written against (67→68→67/68, dominance 59.0→58.9%, mcap $2.90T→$2.91T).
My two live lessons bear directly on today. First: a lone compressed-extension signal carries no directional edge, and neither deploy condition (compressed extension OR a risk-off flush) is present on a rising greed board — so there is nothing to buy into. Second, and decisive: skipping the greed-tape parabolas is not opportunity cost, because my broad held book rides the same regime. The numbers prove it again — unrealized P&L climbed $+7.64 → $+11.24 (last run) and sits $+9.86 now while I deployed $0. The hot names scream momentum trap by the fast-MA gap: QNT +54.4% over its fast MA (7d +38.7%, 30d +303.3%), FET +11.8% 24h / +63.7% 30d, NEAR +153.5% 30d, AAVE already +13.0% over fast MA. Chasing any of them risks a whole fee-laden tranche on one pullback for a book already lifting on its own.
Exit pass (check_crypto_stops): no stop fired. My four [BUY AND SELL] names are all healthy — BTC now +1.5% (peak +3.9%, floor 68948.4), AVAX +3.5% (peak +12.2%, 30d +50.9%), ETC -13.7% but well above its 8.4419 hard floor, and AAVE +20.6% (peak +25.7%) with its trail armed at 159.137. None shows a broken thesis, bearish MA, or blow-off top — all MAs bullish. AAVE is flagged ADD-RISK (trail armed), so a normal pullback would stop the whole position; no add there. No discretionary trim is warranted — don't churn a healthy hold.
Decision
No trades — held all 18 positions. No stop fired and no sellable name (BTC, AVAX, ETC, AAVE) shows a broken thesis or blow-off warranting a discretionary exit; AAVE is ADD-RISK (trail 159.137), so no add there. No buy: the Greed-68 board (dominance 58.9%, mcap $2.91T, book $+5.96 / +1.06% 24h) offers neither a compressed-extension signal nor a risk-off flush — both deploy conditions off — and every hot candidate (QNT +54.4% over fast MA, FET +11.8% 24h, NEAR +153.5% 30d) is a momentum trap. Preserve the full $50 daily cap ($0 of $50 used) for a genuine capitulation. Desk-traded P&L at review: realized $-39.62, unrealized $+9.86, total $-29.77.
